Shipping, Returns and Refunds Policy
Introduction
Thank you for shopping at Something Else. While we strive to ensure that our products meet your expectations, we understand that there may be instances where you may seek a refund. Please read this policy carefully to understand our practices regarding returns and refunds.
Shipping and Delivery (INDIA ONLY)
All single order delivery shipping requires 2-4 business days to prepare and at least 5 business days for delivery (Working days for us are Monday-Friday). While we do our best to get you your delivery by at least 5 business days, we keep a safe delivery window of 5-11 business days - in case of uncontrollable delays or during sales. Bulk orders 4+ items may take longer.
Note - Deliveries affected by causes out of our control, like road-blocks, natural disasters, national holidays, national festivals, high inflow of orders, etc. can delay orders longer than the mentioned days of delivery. Kindly contact us for assistance.
Kindly ensure availability at the delivery address to avoid loss/delay/misplacement or RTO of package. Additional charges may apply in such a case. As such, also ensure to submit the correct phone number and address as the same will be used for delivery. While assistance will be available, loss of package due to incorrect information must be borne by the customer.
Rush Orders
Rush Orders need to be placed before 6:30 PM for guaranteed next business-day hand-off to the courier.
Example - If the order is placed post 6:30 PM, on Monday, the order will be shipped at max by Wednesday. If it is placed before 6:30 PM on Monday, the order will be shipped at Max by Tuesday. (Weekends and Holidays excluded.)
Rush Orders guarantee at most 2 days for shipping (Day 1 Order Placement, Day 2 Shipped), and the regular time for delivery, i.e. 5-7 days. 11 days for J&K.
If 'Rush Order' was selected at check-out and your order is not shipped within 2 days, send a message to support.se@thesingularityproject.co.in with all relative order details and payment proof. Once all requirements have been met, a full-refund of the 'Rush Order' amount will be processed.
Note - Rush orders may not be possible during events out of our control, like road-blocks, natural disasters, national festivals, national holidays, high inflow of orders, etc. However, speak to us still, and if possible, we'll be more than happy to help you out.

Returns & Refunds
Please Note
Returns & Refunds while offered, at Something Else is not available for everyone, but offered a gesture of goodwill in certain cases. We do not offer refunds for wrong size orders, improper care, etc. We offer refunds solely at our discretion, on a case-by-case basis. Certain cases may require a replacement fee to be paid. Approved situations for a return/refund may include but are not limited to:
- Incorrect item received
- Damaged or defective product
Process for Requesting a Refund
To request a refund, you must contact our Customer Service within 24 hours of receiving the product. You will be required to provide:
- Order number
- Reason for the refund request
- Video-graphic evidence in cases of damaged or incorrect items. It is advisable to record the package being opened and then focusing on the product in order to ensure smooth support in the event the product is incorrect or damaged. We apologise for the inconvenience. We're constantly battling malicious intent, exploitation of policy, etc. and are trying our best to ensure you, our true customers get the best they deserve, while not hurting our operations immensely.
Note - Failure to comply with these requirements might result in the denial of the refund request. To reiterate, wash related, size related or improper care related damages are not entitled to refunds/returns. Kindly check the purchase page for Wash related information. If missing, kindly dm us for assistance.
Additionally, kindly note, that it isn't always possible for us to show the exact product through certain images online. There may sometimes be a slight difference in colour, texture, design, etc. While we do handle damaged products, we may not always be able to assist with an incorrect purchase.
Exploitation of Policy
Something Else reserves the right to refuse refund requests from customers who are suspected to be exploiting the refund policy, including but not limited to:
- Multiple refund requests from the same account
- Multiple refund requests from different accounts but suspected to be from the same individual or entity
Amendments to Policy
Something Else reserves the right to amend this Returns and Refunds Policy at any time, especially in cases where we believe the policy is being taken advantage of or exploited by immoral or malicious entities. Any changes will be effective immediately upon posting on the website.
Governing Law
This Returns and Refunds Policy is governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of India. Any dispute arising out of or related to the website shall be subject to the jurisdiction of courts in Mumbai, India.
